The street right before the Mazu temple is alsofamous, people could try all kindsgo authentic street food there.
Definitely tryseasoned millet mush (麵茶) andice seasoned millet mush (麵茶冰) of Doanghua store.
Really recommend, authentic,traditional and local delicious dessert.
This is kinda our childhood dessert and I visited Doanghua store (東華麵茶) everytime I visited Lugan.

If you would like to stay 1-2 days in Lugan (which I really recommend), GH House is a wonderful choice for you.
Located near by the Mazu temple, the room is clean andthe space is open,the host is also kind andhospitable.
I also had a really nice dessert in GH cafe, had a wonderful noon with my family.
So if you have chance to come Changhua, don't forget to visit the ancient Mazu temple in Lugan.
